At the moment I make three types of flute:
SERIES 1 This was my first design, it features fairly small tone holes and has a pleasant woody tone. Developed for ease of playing, this flute is popular with small handed players.
SERIES 2 Features a wider bore and larger tone holes typical of a Pratten flute. A more strident tone, particularly on the lower notes.
Rudall and Rose This is based on a flute by Rudall and Rose C1830. MATERIALS African blackwood and boxwood are available as standard, other timbers subject to availability. Tip rings can be made from brass, artificial ivory, boxwood or Sterling silver.
STUDENT FLUTE : For economic reasons I have stopped making student flutes. I am still happy to take these flutes in part exchange for other models.

KEYWORK My keywork is handmade by myself and can be tailored to a players specific needs. I do not charge extra for left handed flutes. Pillar mounted keys can be retro fitted. Keys are silver plated, an option of gold plate is also available.
